Google India

Previously, the Google search showed Kannada as the search result for the query, “Ugliest language in India,” which resulted in the lash out on Google by the Kannada citizens and politicians. Google sorted a solution for this problem by removing the answer and apologized to Indians for this mistake.

The Forest Minister of the Karnataka Government, Aravind Limbavali tweeted a post saying the historical pride of the Kannada language and demanded an apology from the Google company for the insult, which you can see in the tweet below.

Soon, Google India tweeted saying sorry for the misunderstanding and said it was not done by them intentionally, but the content posted by the public to this search term resulted in this misunderstanding.

Actually, Google does not give the answers to the search terms directly, but google gives the answers by the content published on the topic by the bloggers, so it is not completely fair to blame Google either.

Anyhow, Google apologized for this mistake and solved the problem, so I hope the situation cools down.
